Thought I would kick off the new horror forums with a subject sure to get people ranting.  Post your top 10 Horror Movies of All Time List.  My current top 10 is as follows:

1 - Exorcist, The (1973)
2 - Halloween (1978)
3 - Friday the 13th (1980)
4 - Night of the Living Dead (1968)
5 - Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The (1974)
6 - Jaws (1975)
7 - Alien (1979)
8 - Poltergeist (1982)
9 - Omen, The (1976)
10 - Amityville Horror, The (1979)

Hard to say...it would vary daily by mood probably & there's just too much for me. I'd have to do Top Ten of Different Sub-Genres to be truly happy. but here's one list off the top of my head. In no particular order:

1.Texas Chainsaw Massacre (orig.)
2. Friday the 13th (org.)
3. An American Werewolf in London
4. The Exorcist
5. Halloween
6. Dawn of the Dead
7. Zombie
8. Creature from the Black Lagoon (had to get one oldie in here)
9 The Burning
10 Alien
My honorable mention list would strecth from here to Raleigh.

9. Psycho (1960, Alfred Hitchcock)
10. The Dentist (1996, Brian Yuzna) - guilty pleasure!

...David Fincher's Se7en (1995) would also make the list - but can it really qualify as a horror film?

Personally, I would consider Se7en as a horror/thriller.  I was a great flick and pretty damn gory at times.   Good lists guys... keep them coming.

Tying for 11th place would be Escape From New York, Shaun of The Dead, The Evil Dead 2, Army of Darkness, The Beyond, A Clockwork Orange,  Audition, and  Ichi The Killer.
They are all have horror elements to them but mix it up with other genre material.
